Make your plans to celebrate Fourth of July in Denver! Here is a list of some of the top Independence Day celebrations across the Denver area.

Indy Eve at Civic Center Park (July 3)

Civic Center Conservancy is bringing back Denver’s favorite July 3rd event — reimagined for 2024! The City and County of Denver presents a transformed, interactive, event that will feature Denver’s largest-ever drone show, the launch of Civic Center Night Market, music from emerging young DJs, a live performance from the Colorado Symphony Brass & Percussion Ensemble, and two different light shows on Civic Center Park’s iconic structures! Visitors are invited to gather in Civic Center Park to experience great food, music and shopping at Colorado retailers until the drone show begins, at which time, they can find a spot on the lawn to enjoy and celebrate.

Red, White and You (July 3)

Foothills Park & Recreation District’s signature community event – Red, White & You – returns to Clement Park in 2024! Enjoy music, food, fireworks and family fun!  Admission is FREE, event runs rain or shine.

Arvada Fireworks Display (July 4)

The City of Arvada hosts its annual Fourth of July fireworks display at Stenger Sports Complex, 11200 W 58th Ave. The fireworks show begins shortly after 9 p.m.

Aurora’s 4th of July Spectacular (July 4)

This event will have a variety of musical performances and a large fireworks show! Fireworks will at approximately 9:30 p.m. and will last 30 minutes.
Those wishing to view the fireworks can do so from the Aurora Municipal Center’s Great Lawn beginning at 6 p.m. Free onsite parking will be available on the premises on a first come, first served basis. Event parking will be available on the east side parking lot in front of the Aurora Municipal Center building, on the west side parking lot in front of the Aurora courthouse building and in the lower south parking lot in front of the Great Lawn. There will be signage on-site to guide you on the appropriate spaces to park.
Don’t want to drive? Take the Aurora R-Line! Get dropped off at the Aurora Metro Station and take a short walk up to the event site. Learn more.

Englewood Fireworks Display (July 4)

The City of Englewood is excited to present the annual Independence Day Fireworks to celebrate this year’s Fourth of July!  The Annual Fourth of July Event brings together friends and families from four areas – Englewood, Littleton, Sheridan, Arapahoe County and the South Suburban Parks & Recreation. Celebrate our National Holiday with friends and family at Belleview Park and Cornerstone Park. Learn more.

Golden 4th of July Festival (July 4)

Bring a picnic and join the Golden Lions Club for the annual 4th of July community celebration in Lions Park on 10th Street. Activities include kids games and music provided by three bands starting at 11:30am. The celebration is designed to be a day for families, friends and neighbors to get together at the beautiful park on 10th Street to picnic or purchase food and beverages and enjoy all the festivities.

Highlands Ranch Fireworks Show (July 4)

The Highlands Ranch Metro District is proud to partner with the Highlands Ranch Community Association to bring our community a fabulous fireworks show at Highland Heritage Park. Attendees may bring food (or purchase food from our food trucks), blankets, lawn chairs and handheld umbrellas into the event. The fireworks display begins at approximately 9:30 p.m., pending weather and any potential fire ban. Admission is free and open to the public. Mom Tip: Don’t miss the kid and pet parade at 8:45 a.m., followed by the community parade at 9:30 a.m.

Let Freedom Run 5k/10k (July 4)

Dress up as your favorite American Hero in this Louisville race! This could be your mom, dad, Albert Einstein, Batman, Superman, or the Powerpuff girls! This event is all about celebrating GREAT people who do and have done GREAT things! Start time is 7:45 a.m. Register now.

Northglenn July 4th Festival  (July 4)

Celebrate America’s birthday at the July 4th Festival in EB Rains Jr. Memorial Park in the City of Northglenn. Some call the event the cities largest family picnic as families and friends bring out their blankets and picnic baskets to get a great seat for the annual fireworks program. Learn more.

Westminster Fireworks Display (July 4)

Don’t miss the best fireworks display in the north metro area! Get there early—activities, food and beer vendors, and live music featuring Kentucky Straight starts at 4 p.m., and That Eighties Band starts at 7 p.m. Shuttles will be provided from various locations—check back soon for full schedule!
